America has the world's highest rate of single-parent households. Children in these homes face greater risk of dropping out of school and lower employment—yet research confirms they thrive when surrounded by stable, nurturing relationships and trusted guides.
15% of Cleveland's single-parent households are led by fathers—higher than the national average. Men in Cleveland ARE stepping up. ManUP Cleveland exists to multiply that.
The data shows the need. But the opportunity is even greater. Across our city, churches are uniting, men are stepping up, and a movement is forming to ensure no young man grows up without a guide. ManUP Cleveland exists to connect, equip, and mobilize men for this mission—calling forward the next man up to build legacies and transform communities.
